COVID-19 Resources
The COVID-19 pandemic has cast a stark light on existing disparities in healthcare all over the world, disproportionately affecting marginalized communities, particularly African Americans and economically challenged individuals. These populations have faced higher rates of infection and limited access to crucial resources. At the Muskegon Health Equity Council (MHEC), we recognize the urgent need to address these inequities. We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing vital wellness resources during this crisis, ensuring that those most impacted have access to the support they require.
In the face of these challenges, the MHEC has mobilized resources, partnered with local organizations, and advocated for policies that prioritize the health and well-being of every individual.
